About me - About my blog

Hello. My name's Younes and I am 16 years old.... Yes. 16 years old. You probably will rightfully ask yourself what makes me even half qualified to attempt and give you an insight in this career path. I even asked myself this before I started this blog. Here is the answer:

After I decided I would consider a career in medicine I had loads of questions I wanted and needed to know. Things as basic as what degree  I would need to take to be able to practice to some more technical questions such as how different banding's effect your pay. It took me months on end to be able to answer all the burning questions I had about this profession. I searched on the internet, emailed junior doctors I knew, asked medical students at Outreach Programmes, read books and I even called up the BMA (The British Medical Association.) I know it's not just me that would ask these questions after considering a career that you'll spend your whole adult life pursuing.

SO, I am here to answer all your questions, in one place.

Other than that, I am an extremely proud Moroccan. Ask any of my friends, I go on and on about Morocco because I am so proud at how it has developed. When I grow up, other than aspiring to become a doctor I also aspire to open a charity to try and get the young kids of Morocco of the streets and doing something productive.
